The benefits of fitness and exercise far outweigh any physical looks you might enjoy -- moving your body gives you energy, keeps your heart healthy, your muscles strong, and helps decrease your risk of serious illnesses such as cancers. Nourishing foods give you the mental and physical energy for you to perform at your best in all areas of your life and work wonders for your insides such as fighting diseases and so much more. Your body is truly amazing and you can feel just as amazing and accomplish what you desire when you love yourself and let yourself enjoy the healthy lifestyle you deserve.
I’m like the energizer bunny and love using up some of my daily battery through teaching Zumba dance fitness as well as having a blast keeping my body healthy and strong through weightlifting and stretching. I believe that health (and worth!) is absolutely not defined by the number on the scale or the size of your clothes. I believe a healthy mind as well as balance in our lives is key, and I absolutely eat delicious sweets (like nutella, yum!!) in addition to my kale and blueberries!
I spend a lot of my free time continuing to learn and grow in the areas of mindset, wellness and fitness; I LOVE learning and continuing to improve my life experience as well as uplevel what I can offer my clients! I also love spending time with my loved ones, staring at dogs, being silly and laughing as much as possible, and being by the ocean. After living in the Northeast my whole life, I moved down to the west coast of Florida in 2022 and absolutely love it!
I’m grateful also that I love fitness and so love serving my clients daily through my Feel GREAT Fitness Formula program, 1:1 personal training clients, in person classes and virtual group fitness classes (both live and recorded).
When my dad died of colon cancer (him 47, me age 7), I learned that life is short and I had the chance to make the most of it. I had the opportunity to spend as much of my time doing things I love and that bring me joy. I also learned that keeping a healthy lifestyle would best allow me to do what I desired and to feel my best in this one precious life.
I had always been a very happy person as I purposely filled my time doing what I loved... until I didn’t. I moved to NYC after college and spent 2 years in an uncomfortable and unhealthy 9-5 work situation. While I was in this job, I thankfully found Zumba (dance fitness) classes and when they lit me up like nothing else, I knew that I needed to leave this unhealthy job and build my life back up to be joyous and support my well-being.
I left my job and immersed myself in the health and fitness world professionally; I have not for one second ever regretted this decision. I get to live my best life and love what I do daily as well as help others feel great too through creating the healthy lifestyle that works best for them.
